Scouts
The Desert Museum is a great place to discover the natural world and meet scouts' learning requirements. We offer group admission rates to scout troops. You can also sign up for a Desert Discovery program or download our on grounds Scouts' Activity Guides to help make the most of your visit!
Troop leaders can find even more teaching resources here.
Girl Scouts
Every year, the Desert Museum and Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona team up for special events. We have two planned in 2025:
- Packrat Playhouse Overnighter for Juniors: Friday, March 28, 4:45 p.m. to Saturday, March 29, 8:30 a.m. Registration information.
- Girl Scout Family Day: A Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in October or November. Check back soon for more details!
We will design specialty programs for other scout councils interested in coordinating a large patch/badge day, and can bring our live animal programs to scout events. Please contact Robin Kropp at rkropp@desertmuseum.org or 520-883-3034 for more information.
